Upon arrival: Please stop by the hospitality desk on the second floor of the Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel to pick up a program, name badge, and say hello. Make sure to check the program website for the hospitality desk schedule.

Transportation: Coaches will leave promptly at their scheduled times from the Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel. Local attendees should plan to ride the coaches for all activities. Due to security and parking, only attendees arriving on the coaches will be able to participate in the Friday excursion.

Suggested attire: Smart casual throughout the weekend. A touch of green encouraged for the Friday dinner!

HELPFUL TRAVEL INFORMATION

Currency: The monetary unit of Peru is the Nuevo Sol. Major credit cards are useful for paying for hotel extras and for shopping at larger stores. Otherwise, it is also helpful to have money in small denominations. Additionally, new bills are recommended.

ATM: There are ATMs (Cirrus, MasterCard, Maestro, Plus and Visa) in Lima. If you plan to use an ATM, please check with your bank to find out if your ATM card can be used overseas, and make sure the card has been programmed with your personal identification number (PIN).

Electricity: Throughout Peru, the electrical outlet is 220 volts, 60 cycles. You will need a converter and two-prong adapter.

Time: The time in Peru is the same as Eastern Standard Time. During U.S. Daylight Savings Time (March through October), Peru is one hour behind Eastern Time.
